Where better to hold a music event than a world famous recording studio? The Power House at Metropolis provides an ideal intimate setting for live music events in London with a capacity of 150 standing guests in our largest studio. A private lounge for VIP guests overlooks the live areas.

We hold a monthly music event in the Metropolis Bar called Power Down at the Power House:

Every month we present Power Down at The Power House, a monthly showcase of the industry’s most promising up and coming musical talent.

Our studio manager Katy Samwell says, “The engineers and myself often go to unsigned gigs to find great acts. As well as putting them on at Power Down we’ll often help them with their demo.

“Recently we recorded some overdubs for The Treetop Flyers and mixed tracks for their EP ready for them to take to SXSW this year. It also works the other way, we’ll put bands on that have been recording with us.”

Samwell adds, “We always have A&Rs here from labels and publishers on the night, and we’re building a really good reputation for the amazing quality of acts.”
